Michael is the founding doctor at Epichealth Mornington, opening the clinic to patients over 3 years ago.  Michael has over 40 years’ experience as a GP and has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to patient care.  Michael has served in many high profile positions, most notably as AMA President of Tasmania and a Federal AMA Councillor for many years.  He has been made a Fellow of the Australian Medical Association for his services to the organisation.

Michael has a caring and thorough approach with his patients and practises the full range of family medicine.  He has a special interest in chronic disease management, aged care, children’s health and skin cancer medicine. In his spare time, Michael loves travelling the world with his wife Jill and spending time with his six grandchildren who also live on the Mornington Peninsula.

Dr Stacey Rope

Stacey has over 25 years’ experience as a GP on the Mornington Peninsula and in rural Victoria.   He joined Epichealth, along with all of his loyal patients, over two years ago.

Stace originally graduated with his Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery at Monash University in 1972.  He commenced his medical career in the Australian Army, working for 16 years in the armed forces and holding numerous clinical positions and command roles.  Stace completed a Masters’ in Public Health and his pioneering research into Alcoholism, Cigarette Smoking and Psychiatric Morbidity in the Australian Army led to some major policy changes to improve which has improved the overall health of our armed forces.

Having worked as an army doctor and then as a family doctor in rural locations for over 25 years, its fair to say Stacey has ‘seen it all’ when it comes to general practice.  A true people person, Stace has a caring, empathetic manner and a quick witted sense of humour which sees him relate well to patients from all walks of life.  Stace has a loyal patient base with a special interest in mental health, aged care and chronic disease management.  In his spare time, Stace loves working on his cars and motorbikes and freshening up on his knowledge of war history and the history of the Mornington Peninsula.

Dr Louisa (Lili) Jones  

MBChB, MRCGP (UK) FRACGP DRCOG DCH DFFP

Originally from the UK, Lili trained as a Doctor in Manchester and the West Midlands and has been a GP for more than 10 years. She migrated to Australia 7 years ago and spent the first five years working in a practice In the Blue Mountains before settling in Victoria to join family. She has a wealth of experience in family medicine and is particularly interested in women’s health, child development, geriatrics and palliative care. She also has experience with mental health issues and learning disabilities.

Lili is a passionate advocate of preventative medicine and has a strong interest in chronic disease management and aged care. Her work with chronic medical conditions involves consideration of individual needs and circumstances and a team approach to assessments and reviews. With her practical and down to earth style, Lili is popular with patients of all ages.
